About the Role:

As a concreter on our team, you will be involved in a range of works including:

• All aspects of concreting - digging, forming, boxing, pouring, levelling and finishing concrete
• Working across a variety of small to medium commercial and industrial sites across the Melbourne metro area
• Delivering high quality results in a fast paced environment
• Collaborating with a skilled and motivated team

Requirements:

• Proven experience in commercial and industrial concrete work
• High level competency in boxing and pouring concrete
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking

Responsibilities

• HR Tandem Tipper Operation:
• Excavator Operation: Operate excavators; experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• General Labouring: Assist with general labouring duties as required on job sites.
• Material Handling: Assess loads and haul materials to designated tipping sites.
• Site Coordination: Drive to and from work/tip sites, coordinating with excavators/posi-tracks.
• Material Pickup and Delivery: Collect materials from quarries and deliver to job sites.
• Prestart Checks: Conduct prestart checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Loading and Unloading: Self-load or coordinate loading of materials from site.
• Housekeeping: Maintain plant and equipment cleanliness to a high standard.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in civil plant operation.
• Licenses: Current HR and HC driver's licenses (Syncro or Non-Syncro).
• Plant Operator Tickets: Relevant certifications for machinery operation.
• Construction Induction Card: Valid White/Blue Card.
• Attitude: Proactive, energetic, and a positive can-do attitude.
• Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing demands and work hours.
• Safety Commitment: Strong focus on workplace safety and compliance.
• Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Melbourne suburbs is advantageous
